A 15-minute workflow for reading the market with A1Radar before analyzing individual tokens.
Your First Market Read
This workflow helps you read the market in about 15 minutes. The goal is not to immediately find a trade, but to understand the capital flow context before analyzing specific tokens.
Step 1: Check Market Health
Start with the Chain Health Index.
Observe:
- Which side (buying or selling) is capital leaning toward.
- Is liquidity expanding or shrinking.
- Are new or old tokens attracting the most network activity.
If general market health is weak, lower your expectations for individual token signals.
Step 2: Find Sector Rotations
Open the Sector Performance tool.
Identify:
- Sectors experiencing consistent capital inflows.
- Sectors growing but not yet over-crowded.
- Sectors with multiple tokens confirming momentum.
An individual token's breakout is much more reliable if its entire sector is also attracting market attention.
Step 3: Audit Strategic Traders
Evaluate metrics tracking the Strategic Traders cohort:
- Strategic Traders Netflow
- Strategic Capital
- Strategic Traders DEX Trading Status
- Strategic Traders Newborn Tokens
Find out if smart money is:
- Buying net (accumulating).
- Selling net (distributing).
- Staying on the sidelines.
- Rotating funds into newly deployed tokens.

Step 4: Token Score Audit
Open Gem Radar to view the multi-dimensional token scorecard:
- MEFI: Money flow momentum.
- HLD: Holding conviction.
- ELITE: Strategic capital accumulation.
- CLUS: Coordinated wallet behavior.
- UNLK: Unlock risk.
High-conviction tokens rarely rely on a single score indicator. Prioritize tokens with multiple scores confirming positive on-chain flows.
After selecting a token, review its Volume Momentum Divergence chart to confirm that price and volume are expanding in the same direction.
Step 5: Check Risks Before Executing
Before adding a token to your active watchlist or opening a trade, run a risk audit:
- Is there a major token unlock event scheduled soon?
- Are key money flows starting to weaken or distribute?
- Is there sufficient DEX/CEX liquidity to trade without high slippage?
- Is the signal isolated to one chart, or is it confirmed across multiple metrics?
