Holder Momentum Analysis

Holder Momentum Analysis is a real-time on-chain monitoring tool that tracks transaction activities, balance changes, and rank movements within the largest wallets holding a token (typically the Top 1000 wallets).

This tool helps users unmask "Whales" to see whether they are accumulating, distributing, or splitting balances to newer wallets.

1. 3 Core Analytics Tabs

The dashboard provides three specialized data views:

A. Balance Changes

  • Accumulators: The largest wallets buying the most tokens in the selected timeframe (1d, 7d, 30d).
  • Distributors: The largest wallets selling or transferring out the most tokens.

B. Rank Changes

Tracks the relative rank of wallets based on supply share:

  • Rank Ups: Wallets climbing to higher ranks due to aggressive buying.
  • Rank Downs: Wallets falling in rank due to selling activity.

C. Entries & Exits

  • New Entries: Wallets newly entering the Top 1000 list. This signals strong interest from new capital.
  • Exits: Wallets falling out of the Top 1000 list (either due to complete liquidation or splitting balances).

2. On-chain Activity & Price (Z-Score Chart)

This chart compares the token's price to normalized on-chain activity metrics such as Active Addresses and Transaction Count:

  • These on-chain metrics are converted into a Z-Score to eliminate noise and allow direct comparison against price trends.
  • Divergence: If the price consolidates sideways but active address Z-Scores spike $\rightarrow$ it signals expanding interest, often preceding a major price expansion.

3. Trading Applications

  • Filter Out Exchange & System Wallets: The system automatically labels known centralized exchanges (CEX) and smart contract infrastructure. Focus on unlabeled individual addresses to track genuine smart money plays.
  • Identify "New Whales" (New Entries): When multiple new wallets enter the Top 1000 list and hold their positions, it signals institutional or insider accumulation.
  • Watchlist Tracking (Copy Address): Click any wallet bar on the chart to copy its address (0x...) and paste it into your A1Radar Watchlist to receive real-time transaction alerts.

[!IMPORTANT] Golden Rule: Accumulation flow from new whales (New Entries) is generally a much stronger buy signal than existing whales moving balances between their own wallets.
